1. When you purchase a gift certificate from our store, we send a gift certificate with a unique code via e-mail to the recipient you specified when you purchased the gift certificate. This e-mail is not sent immediately but rather 24-48 hours after you purchase it in order to prevent fraudulent orders. 2. The recipient of the gift certificate then goes to our DogIDs.com store, chooses the products they want and uses the gift certificate code they received when completing their order...All they have to do is enter the gift certificate code upon checkout to redeem their gift from you.
